Celebrating our volunteers

Last Sunday, over 100 volunteers from across Oxfordshire came together to celebrate their achievements and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea.

The sun shone down on Sandford on Thames as members donned their best outfits and got together for a happy afternoon with old and new friends.

There were cakes, scones and sandwiches all washed down with tea and coffee (or a jug of Pimms from the bar!). This was followed by a whole host of awards for our committed volunteers. Long service awards ranged from 5 years to a whopping 50 years and a few well-deserving individuals were awarded a Good Service Brooch. It was definitely a day for celebrations!

A big thank you goes out to the organising team for putting on yet another great event! And thank you to all our volunteers in the county, whether you made it on Sunday or not. The work you do with girls and young women from across Oxfordshire is hugely valuable and the impact you make on girls’ lives can’t be measured!
