Pioneering Adviser – John Williams

The Oxfordshire Pioneering Team is a non-uniform team of Oxfordshire County activity instructors set up to teach and run pioneering for all members. Pioneering is best described as the construction of temporary outdoor structures using poles and rope. Based at Jubilee House Campsite in Oxfordshire the Team is available to run pioneering sessions of evening, ½ day, day, weekend or week-long summer camps for members of Girlguiding UK. We are able to run sessions for girls or adults and offer training from beginner to advanced. If you would like to book us or if pioneering with us appeals to you or you have any questions regarding the Pioneering Team, please email
