01 Angela Peel – County Commissioner
Angela started her Guiding journey in Barbados as a Brownie before moving up to Guides and then a Young Leader. She later moved to England where she then joined Thames District as an Assistant Leader and later taking over as unit Leader. Since then her roles have included Division Camp Adviser, Division Commissioner, District Commissioner and Commissioner Adviser for the County.
The County Commissioner is responsible for and accountable to the whole membership in the County. By leading a team of dedicated and skilled Commissioners and Advisers the County Commissioner will ensure that quality guiding is delivered at County level. She is both an internal and an external ‘figurehead’ for guiding. A County Commissioner may also be a Trustee of guiding both at County level and within the Country and Region.

Appointed for a term of 5 years
Responsible to Region Chief Commissioner
