Meet the Adviser

Hi, I’m Ally Warren and I am the Arts Adviser for Girlguiding Oxfordshire.

My role is to promote and bring Arts in the broadest sense to all members of Girlguiding Oxfordshire. This includes anything you can think of covered by arts from the traditional activities of craft and singing and to modern activities such street dance and digital photography.

I am also here to provide here to provide support to Leaders undertaking new and existing arts activities in their units and to promote and advise on Girlguiding arts publications, initiatives and qualifications.

I plan to put together an Arts directory of arts provision in Oxfordshire. This will include entertainers,instructors, shops, and arts venues. For this I need everyone`s help. If you have been to a great theatre, used a fun entertainer, know of someone who can teach dance to units or anything else you want to share, please let me know. If every unit can send one idea we will have a fantastic Arts directory to send out to units.
