News from First Barton Brownies

In January, First Barton Brownies received a very special invitation from the Oxford Playhouse to go and see their pantomime, Cinderella, which was written and directed by former Chief Scout, Peter Duncan.

The pantomime was amazing and we all had a fantastic time. We had front row seats (which meant that we got a bit wet), and Brown Owl almost got a kiss from Prince Charming! We all agreed that the Ugly Sisters were very funny, even though they were mean to Cinderella. As an extra special treat, we even got to go backstage after the show to meet the two miniature ponies that had pulled Cinderella’s carriage to the ball.
