Congratulations Nikki!

On the 6th January, Andrea Oughton, Oxfordshire Girlguiding County Commissioner, presented Nikki Fairgrieve with her Queen's Guide Award, the highest award possible in Girlguiding.

To gain the Award, Nikki became a Leader with 5th Kidlington Brownies, attended trainings all over the country, became a qualified First Aider, gained her BCU 1 Star Kayaking award and participated in Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions, including one in the Brecon Beacons looking at Pub signs!

For her Community Action clause Nikki helped at a Family Centre and volunteered at a breast feeding clinic. She's camped extensively, has travelled abroad with the Unit in both Italy and Spain and holds an Indoor Camp Qualification enabling to take her peers away.

Nikki was the Horizon Unit Chair for 3 years and is now a Leader with the Unit whilst studying for her Midwifery degree in Northampton.
