In Girlguiding we place the utmost importance on keeping girls and young women safe and ensuring that Girlguiding volunteers know how to deal with emergency situations effectively. A Safe Space training will cover aspects on how to keep girls and leaders safe in and out of the meeting place.
Completion of this training is a requirement for all new leaders undertaking the Girlguiding Adult Leadership Qualification and is also available to current leaders wishing to refresh their knowledge.
Date: Wednesday 6 September 6pm to 9pm
Location: All Saints School, Didcot
Who is it for? This training is open to all Girlguiding volunteers including Young Leaders under 18 years old.

- If you are working on your Leadership Qualification bring your record book.
- (Optional) Bring your Girlguiding Oxfordshire Training Record Card to record this training towards a training badge or ask Pat for a card at the training.
- Wear your uniform as appropriate to your Girlguiding volunteer role.
