Jubilee House Residential Centre is the Headquarters of Oxfordshire guiding. It is a purpose built building complete with kitchen, toilets, showers, lockers, leader’s room, meeting room and First Aid room. It is fully equipped with tables and chairs to seat at least 50, has electric radiators and excellent catering facilities. It can accommodate 20 girls in the main hall sleeping on mattresses plus adults and Senior Section Members. A woodland site, it boasts a climbing and abseiling tower (for which you need to book an Instructor), assault course and campfire circle. In the midst of rural Oxfordshire it is a quiet and peaceful location – off the beaten track but within easy reach of civilisation (although you do need your own transport) – making it the perfect venue for holidays, overnights, day or part day sessions, meetings etc.
There is also a field for the purpose of camping and outdoor activities which includes a purpose built Toilet and Shower Block, a Dry Shelter and a fully equipped camp store including a fridge/freezer, electric sockets for charging equipment, gas BBQ . Camping equipment is available to hire.
For more information about these facilities please email the Booking Secretary, Mrs Maureen Arnold.
Members of Girlguiding Oxfordshire can book using the booking form in the Resources section of the Members Area. Non-members should use this booking form.
